Arthur Backal is Chief Executive Officer and Founder of the Backal Hospitality Group. With over 20 years in the hospitality industry, Mr. Backal has enjoyed a reputation as one of New York’s most experienced and talented food and beverage professionals in the arena of special events. For much of his career, Mr. Backal has streamlined the success of many notable venues throughout the city, including, but not limited to, the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, St. Regis, The Pierre, the Cipriani Group, Waldorf Astoria, and Apella. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family and traveling the globe.
